Logan and Albert Branch, Australian Deer Association

ADA membership is recognised in Queensland as a genuine reason to own a Category A & B weapon for recreational purposes on rural land.Logan and Albert is an "Approved Hunting Organisation" for the purposes of NSW Game Council R-License

The Logan and Albert Sub Branch is one of the ADA’s newest branches. The branch has a strong expanding membership.
Meetings are held at the Pimpama Hall, just off the South East Freeway near Dream World, centered for easy access for most members. The committee aims to make meetings sociable and informative with regular guest speakers and trade representatives, as well as giving opportunity for discussion of current issues and ADA activities. Members are encouraged to bring along trophies or other items of interest. Each meeting includes a sit down meal for $10 where members can bond with each other.

Branch members can participate in many activities including deer surveys of emerging herds in the region, hunting with the branch deer management group, Branch Hunts, State Hunts, the State Hunter Education Program, Social and Competition shoots, the Hunter’s Dinner and the Hunting and Outdoor Show.

The branch is a body recognised by the New South Wales Game Council, and can offer its members the opportunity of participation in Game Council projects through assessment for the R-License (holders of which are eligible to be involved in hunting programs on public and private land under the management of the NSW Game Council.)

All branch matters are publicised in the branch which is emailed out to members monthly. Members are welcome to submit notices, articles, pictures, and advertisements to the editor for publication.

As a branch we welcome our member’s involvement and feedback. Non members can attend General and Social Meetings, and any member can attend committee or sub-group meetings.
